Intel Software Engineer Intern in Folsom, California

Job Description

Intel's Corporate Library team has an internship opening for a software engineer. The successful candidate will be part of the team responsible for development of validation tools and flows used in qualification of digital and analog collateral for Intel's CPU, graphics, and SoC design teams.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Validation tool analytics module development. This involves programming in Python to access and extract database content and create summarization reports.

  • Application of machine learning grouping/prediction and statistical analysis algorithms to assess and summarize tool performance and usage behaviors.

  • Through data analysis, make recommendations for enhancements and changes in the tool coding and tool usage.

The successful candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong customer orientation, and ability to work with external and internal partners in a flexible manner.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum requirements:

  • Candidate must be pursuing a Masters degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science

  • At least 6+ months of experience with:

Software development with proficiency in Python programming.

MongoDB database and pandas for queries and data analysis.

Web Design (JavaScript, NodeJS etc)

-Availability for 3 months of experience.

Preferred qualifications:

-Experience with Linux environment and its development tools.
