  • Ability to quickly become a strong contributor both as an individual contributor and as part of a highly dynamic product development team.In this position, you will be playing a key role in enabling Intel's customers with our client SSDs and Optane Memory solutions, with focus on debug and integration.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Support PCIe & SATA SSD system-level integration for Client SSD market segment.

  • Support PCIe Optane memory system-level integration for Client market segment.

  • Performing electrical failure analysis using available tools.

  • Designing and carrying out experiments to identify failure root cause and fix validation.

  • Documenting and reporting debug analysis with hypothesis, root cause, and validation steps.

  • This will include directly communicating results with customers and partners.

Some travel, including out of country, to customers' sites for failure analysis, debug, and communication.



  • Bachelor's or Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science/Engineering.

  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' prior working experience within the field of SSD device design, operation, or testing.

  • 1+ years’ experience with SSD or system failure analysis and debug.

  • 3+ years’ experience with bench test equipment (O-scope, Protocol Analyzers and others).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years working in system or memory engineering

  • Expert-level experience in and/or knowledge of memory device functionality and usage.
