Job Description

Come Join Intel's Platform Engineering group organization as SOC Design Engineer, where you will use state of the art digital design tools and flows will be responsible for all stages of digital design. As a member of the Client Graphics SOC team, you will be responsible for integrating key differentiating IPs into System on Chip SoC designs, driving RTL design convergence with quality, and enable both the Structural design and Validation teams. To be successful in this position you will need to be able to learn quickly and work effectively in a highly dynamic environment. We are looking for a strong problem solver with good interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.

In this position, you will help us with the following responsibilities:

  • Oversees definition, design, verification, and documentation for SoC System on a Chip development.

  • Determines architecture design, logic design, and system simulation.

  • Defines module interfaces/formats for simulation.

  • Performs Logic design for integration of cell libraries, functional units and subsystems into SoC full chip designs, Register Transfer Level coding, and simulation for SoCs. Contributes to the development of multidimensional designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits. Performs all aspects of the SoC design flow from highlevel design to synthesis, place and route, timing and power to create a design database that is ready for manufacturing.

  • Analyzes equipment to establish operation infrastructure, conducts experimental tests, and evaluates results.

  • May also review vendor capability to support development.


You must possess a minimum of Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or related field

Your experience should be in the following:

  • 8 Years of experience in SOC design and integration

  • 3 Years of experience with industry standard unified power format and UPF based design convergence

  • 3 years of experience with Synthesis tools like design compiler

  • 3 Years of experience with Perl based or any other scripting tools

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • 3 yrs of experience with system Verilog test bench language and design verification

  • 3 Yrs of experience with C/C++ programming
