Intel Application Engineer Intern in Hillsboro, Oregon
Developing and Optimizing benchmarks based on Open Source Financial library. The successful candidate is expected to develop, analyze and improve performance of financial workloads based on QuantLib an open source financial library across Intel Core architectures. This work will allow Intel to scale Intel Architecture value by sharing the Optimization Methods and workloads with customers via papers, webinars, etc.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Must be pursuing an Master or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or any other related field.
Six months experience or equivalent coursework in the following areas:
C/ C++ Performance Analysis
x86 assembly including Vector ISA
Performance analysis of parallel code and parallel hardware.
Many Core architecture and expertise in performance analysis on Intel Architecture will be strong assets for this internship
