Intel BIOS/MRC Engineer in Hillsboro, Oregon
Develop platform BIOS, reference code and related documentation for Intel silicon products such as next generation chip sets and processors. Responsible for authoring BIOS specifications, creating chip set reference code and developing / supporting platform BIOS for Intel's CPUs and chip sets. Work closely with Intel silicon design teams and be responsible for all software and BIOS related issues during the planning, development, and validation stages of the program.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or any other related field.
Minimum of 1 year ofexperience in :
PC architecture and operating systems
Memory System Architecture and Design
