Intel Bluetooth Test Engineer Intern Undergraduate in Hillsboro, Oregon

Job Description

As a Bluetooth Test Engineer Intern, you will support the Bluetooth Validation team with execution of the test plans and automation. Bluetooth solution that the team validates covers firmware as well as software stack. This position requires a combination of strong communication and interpersonal skills, scripting, automation debugging and technical awareness. You will be based in Hillsboro, Oregon as a member of a talented Validation Engineering Team. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

  • Ability to resolve user/permission file issues when needed

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications-Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineer or related field-Candidate must have the unrestricted right to work in the US without requiring sponsorship-

Minimum 3 months of experience with:

  • Programing skills, helpful for making small modifications to automation for bug reproduction/verification/characterization-

  • Linux and Windows Operating systems

  • Troubleshooting general OS/platform/device/networking issues knowledge-Knowledge of how to use command-line any OS tools

  • BIOS/UEF/OS-Absent mode

  • Windows registry setting regedit

  • Proficiency with Excel work basics such as formatting and simple cell equations

  • Bluetooth, Android and iOS experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with C or Python both is a plus

  • Perforce or other version control systems

  • Familiarity with the defect\bug life cycle

  • Having any experience with Chrome or Android a plus, even better if they have developed software for these platforms.

  • Knowledge of version control -Remote desktop and KVMs- Imaging platforms to new OS / booting issues
