Intel CAD Engineer in Hillsboro, Oregon
As a member of the Advanced Design group in Logic Technology Development (LTD), you will be responsible for the development and support of computer-aided design (CAD) automation tools used in the construction of technology lead vehicle Test Chips and reference designs.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Development and support of CAD software/flows that automate: design environment, database, parasitic extraction, reliability verification, timing analysis, physical design of critical digital and analog circuit blocks.
Explore advanced automation capability to support next generation technology.
Participate in PDK development and tool certification for client/server/SOC products.
Drive and implement efficiency to existing automation, tools and methodology.
Support digital, analog, STD cell and Template designs with focus on efficiency and user productivity.
Collaborating with Process and Tool developers to define and improve design / tool interactions.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, design tools/flows and verification issues.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.
You must possess a Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Material Science and Computer Science.
At least 3 months of experience with:
Design automation, software, and with Unix.
Multiple programming languages, including but not limited to C, C++, Perl, Tcl, Python.
In VLSI and ASIC design
Cadence design framework and synchronicity.
Demonstrate experience with standard EDA tools from Synopsys, Cadence and others.
Demonstrate experience using Synopsys/Cadence Virtuoso tool suite, and/or layout verification/synthesis tools.
