Intel CAD Engineer in Hillsboro, Oregon
The job is in the area of software development for design (physical design) verification to support the latest Intel technologies and microprocessor designs. This group is part of Intel's logic technology development organization. You will have opportunities to learn industry standard design verification tools, learn Intel design layout tools and other automation in this area. These might not be areas you are directly familiar with, but you should be successful with a strong background in any area of software development. Responsibilities will include software development, test case development, software quality, optimizing automation in this area, interacting with process technology development, design groups and design automation tools development groups.
This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.
Master's or Ph.D Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, other branches of engineering with an aptitude for software development.
3+ months of experience with C++/Python/Perl/TCL/coding skills/ICV/calibre/experience with developing design tools
