Intel Cloud Software Engineer in Hillsboro, Oregon
In this position you will analyze HPC and Commercial code, tuning and bench marking. The candidate should have a proven experience with tuning applications/codes to get the highest level of optimization for performance on various architectures. You will have the ability to work with the various codes to understand/analyze them in order to optimize performance, feedback information to developers and publish the high test performance levels for each code. There also needs to be the ability to work with compilers, analyzing tools and work with customer and developers. They should be able to look at codes written in various languages and hand tune the codes as appropriate.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through relevant previous school, industry jobs and/or research experience.
BS with 10 years of experience or MS with 8 years of experience
10 years software tuning, optimizing, bench-marking on both HPC and commercial code.
Extensive and proven experience with one or more non-x86 and x86 systems for performance work.
Extensive knowledge of system level performance characteristics, tools, optimizations, and benchmarking.
C/C++ programming expert
