Job Description

The HR Cloud Solutions Team is seeking a Concur Business Solutions Architect, for a tactical technical position which is business facing to support the Concur Travel and Expenses Cloud platform services account.

You will build and maintain the functional configuration and system enhancements. This includes analyzing and determining the impact to all platform modules to ensure that an integrated solution is maintained.

The Concur Business Solutions Architect must be able to work independently to understand the requirements, programs/business processes, participate in the configuration, testing, and implementation.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Complete complex configuration tasks that may require modeling and validation

  • Assists internal business stakeholders with definition of functional requirements and maps them to application capabilities to achieve optimal functional configuration enhancements

  • Coordinate (with IT partners where required) and deliver support (email, phone, online chat)

  • Troubleshoot application problems, finding and presenting solutions for technical issues, and provide a last point of technical support

  • Ensure all system changes follow established change control and validation procedures

  • Keep up to date on the application releases and patches

  • Creative and capable of deriving multiple possible configuration solutions for a given requirement

  • Must be able to work individually as well as multi-disciplinary team

  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, organizational and communication skills


  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, IS, IT, or similar technology field

  • 3+ years' experience with Concur configuration

  • Experience with Travel and Expense programs, their underlying technologies, and business processes

  • Experience analyzing business requirements, needs and objectives and map them to the solutions and products that are being implemented
