Primary Job Duties:

Corporate Security's mission is to provide a safe and secure environment for our people and assets. This internship will focus on various Corporate Security programs that may include, but are not limited to:

  • Remote site operations and monitoring

  • Site risk assessments

  • Various security or emergency management compliance programs

This internship will heavily focus on reviewing and analyzing internal security reports, data and trend analysis, testing and feedback for the development of the user interface for an online security incident and investigation record keeping tool, reviewing security standards/policies across multiple campuses, and making recommendations to Corporate Security management relating to their overall effectiveness, efficiency, gap analysis, standardization, and continuous improvement.

Additional Job Duties:

This position will work closely with Corporate Security personnel including, but not limited to Security Operations Managers and Emergency Managers. Core hours are 8-5 M-F, and may require flexibility at times to cover both expected and unexpected events that will come up at inconvenient times. As a Corporate Services position, this position may need to assist from time to time with programs or duties that have no direct link to Corporate Security.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Security and Strategic Intelligence, Global Security and Intelligence Studies, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Must maintain enrollment in the qualifying program and remain in good academic and school standing.

  • This U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only. A U.S. Worker is someone who is either a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government. Intel will not sponsor a foreign national for this position.

3 to 6 months of experience in:

  • Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint.

  • Handling computers and working with Technology.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in law enforcement, investigations, corporate security, or similar.
