Job Description

The Intel Legal Department is looking for a creative and driven lawyer to join our legal team as a Business Attorney. The candidate must enjoy working with smart people, excel at finding creative solutions to difficult problems, and have an interest in technology. Business attorneys at Intel partner closely with Intel’s business units and counsel them on a wide variety of matters ranging from technology licensing to antitrust to intellectual property issues.

In this position you will provide legal support to the IOTG business unit and its senior legal team on projects and transactions that are important for Intel’s success.

IOTG is an exciting and rapidly growing business within Intel, and the Internet of Things raises interesting issues (both familiar and novel) for business and legal consideration and action. As a member of the legal team you will work with the business to develop and sell high-performance Internet of Things compute solutions for retail, automotive, industrial, and video and vision applications, along with a broad range of other embedded applications.


You should possess a JD degree and a state bar membership, and have three to five years of relevant legal experience.

In addition, you should have:

  • Strong communication, collaboration and negotiation skills;

  • Strong drafting and legal writing skills;

  • Excellent legal and business judgment;

  • Ability to communicate clear, concise and practical legal advice;

  • Familiarity with technology licensing, IP protection, and contract law;

  • Desire to learn from senior Intel business lawyers and develop new skills;

  • Demonstrated ability to work well in teams of lawyers and non-legal professionals;

  • Talent for managing competing priorities.
