Job Description

Cross Module Support Process Engineers are responsible for leading scientific research which enables manufacture of innovative device architectures. The successful candidate will design, execute and analyze experiments necessary to meet engineering specifications for all current and developmental processes and processing equipment. They will support sustaining factory operations while achieving world-class quality and while always putting safety first. They will participate in the creation of intellectual property while collaborating with equipment suppliers, group members and cross-module teams. Their role will include development of the equipment necessary to enable successful research goal achievements within projected timelines while working effectively with the equipment supplier to identify shortcomings, and propose and evaluate hardware modification to mitigate issues. The candidate will be responsible for expert level understanding of their areas equipment, process scope, and its integration to the factory infrastructure. As such, they will work with other manufacturing sites to lead trouble-shoot efforts and transfer/audit the technology to their cross-site counterparts.

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualification

  • You must possess a minimum of a Ph.D. degree majoring in Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Graduate school experience demonstrating experimental and data analysis expertise.

  • 2+ years of Graduate school experience using and maintaining scientific equipment.

  • 1+ years of experience scripting in SQL or writing excel macros.

  • Familiar with plastics molding and manufacturing.
