Job Description

  • Develops and tests Engineering Design Automation tools, creates flows/scripts to analyze and test design methodologies

  • Specifies materials, equipment and supplies required for completion of projects

  • Evaluates vendor practical capabilities to provide required products or services

  • Responsible for designing, deploying and testing efficiency of tools to utilize in achieving design goals and collaborating with design teams on methodology development

  • Applies design methodologies to help execute projects effectively and successfully with high quality


Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering with 4+ years of experience, or a Master's Degree with 3+ years of relevant work experience

Must have 3+ years of relevant work experience in the following:

  • Perl, TCL, or other scripting languages

  • Linux/Unix

  • Hardware description language e.g., Verilog, System Verilog, VHDL, SystemC

  • Strong background in Software/Hardware development/validation and relevant automation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Software Programming

  • Proven excellent verbal and communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to clearly document findings and present results for technology development
