Intel DRAM Product Engineer (Supply Chain) in Hillsboro, Oregon
The position involves acting as the memory technology content expert within a procurement team, demonstrating a deep knowledge of DRAM design, architecture, manufacturing and the external DRAM supplier ecosystem (“supply chain”). Evaluates and benchmarks emerging memory and storage technologies in the broader ecosystem. Collaborates closely with the internal memory enabling, product packaging and business unit organizations on future product memory technology requirements, architectural decisions and memory technology selections. Contributes to the development of memory procurement specifications to ensure Intel product performance and production requirements are properly covered. Helps to develop solutions to a wide range of complex memory supply chain challenges, contributing technical content expertise. Responsible for consolidation of industry technology roadmaps and benchmarking necessary for comparative analysis with Intel’s requirements. Key contributor for industry technology market intelligence assessments needed to inform and align executive stakeholders internally.
BS + 9 yrs. exp.; MS + 6 yrs. exp.; or PhD + 4 yrs. exp. in Electrical Engineering with 5+ yrs. experience working in the Memory Industry including market and technology trends.
