Intel EUV Lithography Principal Engineer in Hillsboro, Oregon
This Principal Engineer position will:
Serve as a point of contact and owner of technical relationships between Intel and suppliers of lithography processing equipment in a variety of applications across multiple factories.
Align with supply chain, technology development, and manufacturing customers, negotiating purchase specifications, identifying and addressing timeline or performance gaps, and driving the supplier and potentially sub-suppliers to execute quality and performance improvement programs.
Consistently know internal customer requirements and proactively deliver solutions to meet those needs.
Negotiate complex roadmap specifications, equipment enhancements, or strategic arrangements for best Intel outcome.
Understand Intel technical requirements/ roadmaps and lead periodic formal program review meetings.
Monitor equipment health and drive systematic performance improvements.
Lead scanner improvement teams with TD/HVM and ASML as required to resolve systemic or isolated issues impacting availability, equipment downs, or major technical issues.
Understand extendability requirements as process matures and drive any configuration changes, upgrades, etc.
Work closely with Lithography Strategic Sourcing senior business team to develop and execute commercial negotiation strategies
Travel required 25%. Extended site assignment at Intel or supplier site may be required for the position.
Ideal candidate has particularly strong knowledge of EUV lithography.
A demonstrated ability to lead suppliers and technical experts through data analysis and lithography scanner performance specifications.
A demonstrated ability to lead a project team through influence across organizational boundaries, drive team direction, synthesize complex data streams from disparate sources, and execute decisions with a sense of urgency.
Forges alliances across stakeholders and suppliers to pool resources and provide solutions that meet internal customer needs. Can build relationships and influence equally Independent Contributors and Corporate Executives.
Education: MS in engineering or physics with 20+ years' experience or PhD Degree in engineering or physics with 15+ years' experience.
- 5-10 years direct experience in photo-lithography, scanner design and operation, equipment engineering, materials engineering, semiconductor manufacturing, and CMOS processing.
