Job Description

As an Intel Facilities Automation and Controls Technician, you will play a significant role in helping to develop the world's most revolutionary processors. You will join an elite group who work at our high-tech technology and development fabrication facilities using state-of-the-art manufacturing processes and tools.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Working with PLC hardware and any low voltage peripheral components

  • Working with Siemens BMS hardware, software and any low voltage peripheral components.

  • Developing and performing programming procedures within our PLC systems and data acquisition software.

  • Maintaining and improving the performance of new control loops and maintenance of associated panels.

  • Working with a preventive maintenance program and all associated hardware and software.

  • Supporting and maintaining established system standards and documentation for process control loops and analytical equipment.

  • Availability to respond and support all operational user needs during emergencies and weekends

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this entry level position. Experience would be obtained through your educational level research and/or relevant job/internship experiences.

  • AA/AS degree or equal job related experience with 3+ yrs. exp. in Industrial automation platforms, including Cimplicity, Rockwell Automation Control Logix PLC products or knowledge of other Facility Management Systems (PLC & SCADA & BMS).

  • 3+ years of experience with process systems troubleshooting skills.

  • 1+ years of experience with servers, operating systems, databases, and networking (Ethernet, DH+, ControlNet, Bacnet, Modbus).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledgeable in facilities systems infrastructure, operations, design, and commissioning

  • Knowledge of field instrumentation (i.e. flow and level transmitters, control valves, etc.)
