Intel Facilities Contracts Manager in Hillsboro, Oregon
As a member of the Integrated Facilities Technology Sourcing (IFTS) supply chain team within the Facilities Management & Services (FMS) organization, the Contracts/Sourcing Manager (FCM) will work with the Oregon region facilities supply chain management team to support Intel's technology facility needs throughout all phases.
In this position as a sourcing/contracts commodity manager, you will be primarily responsible for supporting multiple Construction projects/programs including global material initiatives in collaboration with technical scope owners across the corporation. We engage with multiple stakeholders primarily in Corporate Services Technology Development (CS TD) Operations and Portland Technology Development (PTD), CS Construction (CSC) as well as other commodity managers in Global Supply Chain (GSC).
FCMs must have a broad understanding of global and regional business and financial domains, semiconductor manufacturing industry and associated markets in the facilities space, the TMG environment, and multidisciplinary technologies. FCMs measure current performance, define future targets and goals, develop strategies, and execute improvement programs for Intel's supply chain. Some FCMs perform specialized tasks in addition to their core job responsibilities, such as consulting directly with Intel suppliers on tools, data analytics such as Power BI, systems, quality and controls, services, or processes to improve their performance. FCMs may work on several projects and/or programs simultaneously, managing multiple stakeholders, conducting budget and/or resource planning, forecasting, theory of constraints, inventory analysis, roadmaps, benchmarking and departmental indicators.
Key activities in this role include:
Developing, implementing and driving strategic sourcing plans for regional Construction services and material specific commodity areas; gathering global market intelligence data and performing benchmarking/data analysis,
The role requires the development of complex interaction models beyond the purchase agreement including collaborations, evaluations, and new supplier development
Managing cost, quality and availability requirements for our global facilities construction and operations environment. Includes developing and managing metrics for effective controls, problem solving and performance to goals
Developing and managing effective and synergistic supplier relationships throughout the supply chain.
Partnering with internal and external stakeholders (globally and at sites) to develop plans and options to meet need dates, support continuous improvement and opportunities.
Mentoring and leading partner organizations and your technical counterparts in business and commercial strategies and as needed, tactical, planning and execution; partnering with stakeholders to improve efficiency of supplier business processes and material costs, delivery times.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Qualifications listed as preferred or additional will be considered a plus factor for applicants.
B.S. in Engineering or similar technical degree or Master of Business Administration (MBA) in supply chain or 10 years minimum in contract/supplier management experience.
Minimum of 5 years' experience.
Construction/facilities experience is preferred.
Must have strong communication skills both verbal and written including proficiency in use of presentations with Powerpoint
Project management expertise
Proficient in use of Excel, database and similar MS Office programs. Other business intelligence expertise such as Power BI, production planning.
