The heart of Intel innovation lies in its semiconductor facilities and this is your opportunity play a central role in maintaining our state-of-the-art environmental controls, including oil-free air systems, HVAC systems, chilled water plant, boilers and environmental compliance exhaust systems. Our Mechanical Engineers make a big impact by supporting our daily tactical efforts in safety, reliability and environmental objectives. Furthermore, colleagues will follow your lead in planning, design, reconfiguration, construction, maintenance and modifications - everything that goes into supporting Intel's most valuable manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.
Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or closely related field.

At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in:
Facilities exhaust systems
Chemical engineering principles, pumps, valves, flow calculations and chemical analytical testing.
At least 6 months of experience in:
- Developing technical processes and procedures
Ability to communicate tactical concepts across a wide range of employees; engineering peers to operational technicians to management.
Application of structured problem solving methods and tools.
