Intel Failure Analysis Technician in Hillsboro, Oregon
To perform physical analysis in support of boards and systems level investigations during product development and/or field returns evaluation. Work from technical manual, schematics, drawing, product technical specifics available on WW Web, utility tools written and/or verbal directions to complete tasks in assign areas. Use standard physical analytical tools like grinders, polishers, waterjet cutting tools, optical and electron microscopes to gather data and assist in debug using basic circuit analysis. Skill in programming of test equipment software and hardware algorithm, and configuration to constantly improve debug TPT. Maintain necessary records and reports. Perform other related duties as required or as directed.

Must have an Associate’s degree on Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical engineering or Manufacturing.

Experience with waterjet cutting tools, programming and routing of CNC.
Familiarity with CAD layout, board design software and microscopy.
Experience with thermal interface materials characterization.
