As a component design engineer with the Extreme Scale Computing team you will be on the leading edge of compute innovation and design. We are looking for an individual to help deliver leading performance and back-end efficiency by enabling best-in-class front-end to back-end methodologies and directly optimizing the design. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:-MS or PhD in CompE/EE-3-4 years of experience in the areas for front-end design to structural design-Experience in synthesis/static timing/MPP/CDC/FEV analysis and design optimizations-Experience with floorplanning/sizing/density analysis efforts in front-end design stages and back-end implications-Experience with UPF definition and usage within design Additional Qualifications:-Experience with mixed signal IP integration/development-Development on sub-14nm processes-Experience with tools/methodologies to provide design intent for SD execution in more automated/efficient ways i.e. MCP macros, UPF, critical net/timing identification Preferred Qualifications:-Experience with scripting/automation -Experience with Intel and Industry front-end to back-end tools Spyglass, conformal, Synopsys tools-Experience leading distributed design and SD resources across geos, including CW resources-Experience with IO IP pre-SI functional validation methodologies IP level, SOC integrated, AMS/MSV
