Intel Intel Math Kernel Library Software Engineer in Hillsboro, Oregon
We seek experienced programmers and code optimizers to fill software engineering positions on the Intel Math Kernel Library (Intel MKL) team. In these roles, you will use your high performance computing and performance optimization experience to write parallelized and highly-tuned software algorithms for current and future Intel architectures, write and run functional/performance tests and help maintain the product build system. You will be expected to present the results of your activities internally and at external conferences. You must also be able to work independently and to plan long-term software development activities.
You must have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics.
4 years working in high performance computing environments and optimizing code to achieve high performance
4 years programming in C or C+- 4 years programming in Linux or Windows environments
4 years programming with OpenMP, MPI or TBB
1 year of Numerical Analysis/Computational Math coursework including numerical linear algebra and FFTs
X86 assembly language, compiler intrinsics, and knowledge of machine architectures
Optimizing code for GPUs or computational accelerators
Knowledge of algorithms used for machine learning and data analytics
Experience with Intel software development tools compilers, Intel MKL, or performance profilers
