Job Description

Come join Intel as an intern on the Intel MKL Oregon dense linear algebra team testing and optimizing linear algebra library functions for the latest Intel processors.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be pursuing a PHD Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or related fields.

  • Availability for 6+ months internship.

  • 1+ year experience or equivalent coursework in the following areas:

  • C/C++/OpenCL coding

  • Programming in Linux or Windows environments

  • HPC, code optimization and parallelization (OpenMP or TBB)

  • Numerical Analysis or Computational Mathematics with an emphasis in computational Linear Algebra

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BLAS optimization techniques(Intel MKL, Open BLAS, BLIS)

  • Accelerator code optimization
