The Enterprise and Government (E&G) Group's mission is to grow Intel's Data Center business with Enterprise and Government end users around the world. This customer segment represents the largest proportion of DCG's overall revenue and will continue to be financially significant and strategically important going forward. Within the E&G segment, HPC represents one of the most important domains for Intel in the data center, cloud, and beyond – as it is increasingly a synthesis of high performance computing, high performance data analytics, and artificial intelligence that impacts the cutting edge of science, commerce and society.
The HPC Marketing team is looking for an innovative marketing manager to develop and execute a comprehensive leadership marketing plan for Intel in this exciting space.
This will entail working with a variety of stakeholders and experts to create new messaging.
Define a thought leadership vision and execution plan, drive technical content and editorial plans.
Identify and lead highly impactful disclosures, and engage with influencers, analysts, and press.
This marketing leader will shape the overall narrative around the convergence of HPC, high performance data analytics and artificial intelligence as well as the exciting frontier of HPC in the cloud. Lastly this role will tackle competitive leadership positioning, messaging and strategies that clearly demonstrate Intel's superior value to customers across a wide variety of industry verticals.
This position will report to the Director of HPC Marketing and work in close coordination with GMC, SMG, Intel Federal and other groups to drive visible impact for Intel in this highly dynamic and competitive environment.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline with 6+ years of relevant experience or a Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline with 4+ years of relevant experience in the following areas:
Marketing and/or sales experience related to high performance computing.
Technology marketing with proven ability to write messaging, create marketing plans, and execute a strategy.
Solid understanding of high performance computing from business and technical perspectives.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must as this position and requires interaction at multiple levels within Intel and across a variety of job functions.
Ability to "roll up sleeves" and execute quickly at both strategy and tactics - e.g., drafting keynote content, driving speakership opportunities, writing messaging copy or draft press releases under short time lines
Familiar with the DCG portfolio of products, be able to ramp quickly and understand the underlying technologies and strategies that DCG is executing
Extraordinary teamwork and collaboration are required as well as a strong customer service attitude and mindset.
