Job Description

Manufacturing Equipment Technicians perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in nonfunctioning electromechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process. Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings. May also perform setup, calibration, and preventative maintenance on production equipment. Assignments are semiroutine in nature. Work performed within generally defined parameters. Some degree of judgment required in resolving nonstandard problems. Normally receives general instructions on most work.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum Requirements:

Candidate must have a BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Candidates with 6+ years of Military experience in Mechanics/Electronics/Avionics training/Automotive including ability to demonstrate basic knowledge in mechanical repair, schematic/wiring diagram reading, mechanical/electronic systems troubleshooting and maintenance, repairing and troubleshooting mechanical/electronic equipment down to a component using available schematics, technical data and test equipment/basic tools will also be considered.

6+ months of experience in the following areas:

  • Substantial experience in equipment troubleshooting and repair.

  • Schematics for troubleshooting

  • L2/L3 module maintenance and hands-on troubleshooting on Module Specific platforms is preferred.

  • 300mm experience desired.
