We have a fantastic opportunity where you'll work with senior leaders in Intel's Data Center Group (DCG) to enhance our strategic investment decisions, new product development priorities and new market opportunity identification.
The Data Center Market Intelligence team is seeking experienced Market Intelligence Analysts. You will work closely with the DCG segments (Cloud, Enterprise, Networking), planning, finance, as well as SMG, SSG and others to (1) collect, explore, and extract insights from internal & external sources, (2) find patterns and relationships in data, (3) perform scenario experimentation that help answer strategic questions from key stakeholders, and (4) share insights with customers and strategic partners.
The successful candidate will be a collaborative professional with leadership skills, very comfortable doing detailed numerical market analysis as well as creating presentations that synthesize complex information and tell a compelling story highlighting actionable insights.
Provide expertise on database management/design to drive integration of business data, functions, and systems.
Establish standards, guidelines, procedures, and other infrastructure necessary to support the objective of integration of data.
Sizing key markets and new strategic imperatives.
Analyzing key competitors & customers.
Delivering analysis to support day-to-day business decision-making.
Providing insights and recommendations to inform strategic decisions; reporting on key market trends and changing market conditions to highlight opportunities and threats.
Identifying and developing relationships with key internal stakeholders to source and share market information.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, finance, computer science, or engineering with 9+ years’ of experience or a Master degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, finance, computer science, or engineering with 6+ years of experience or a PhD with 4+ years of experience in the following areas:
Market intelligence, data analytics, data science or market research.
Excel, R or Python
Working with complex data sets.
Must be able to work well independently as well as part of a broader team.
Analytical skills must be based on a solid business understanding, and you must be able to communicate your conclusions clearly and concisely.
Strong aptitude for synthesizing information with understanding of structured & unstructured data analysis/modeling and problem solving, and have the ability to define and deliver to commitments.
