Job Description

Materials Program Manager will be responsible for converting manufacturing and business requirements into actionable strategies and tactics as they relate to BOM risk assessment, inventory health/optimization streamlined/reliable supply chain and total cost to business. Candidate must equip with Bill of Materials BOM knowledge on Level 9 and above system integration/assembly. We are providing high mixed/low volume, high volume manufacturing Material Program & Production Management for various business units at the outsourced Foundries/ OSAT/ ODMs/EMS, SIMS/CPTD factory.

The group is responsible for strategic early engagement, golden handshake to ensure smooth transition from NPI to HVM. For HVM readiness and support, team ensure new products launches on time TTM, sustain BOM Risk Assessment and Material Risk Assessment, drive various Material Strategy to meet product ramp, coordinate multisource plan with GSM stakeholders and external SIFO/ OSAT/ ODMs, Suppliers' on time delivery and cycle time performance, Material escalation, drive BOM Cost target, influence Design Engineer during BOM ECO changes on component selection, cost benchmarking activities, ensure BOM health via BOM scrub process, enable new site start up, liability settlement with external ODMs, etc.

This leader will manage tight linkages to each Business Units to ensure material availability/cost/qualification to enable output max while balancing cost and inventory control to meet BU expectation.

At times, Responsibility may include but not limited to :- Work with BU stakeholder to align business priorities and roadmap alignment. Strong business acumen and run regular business operations review with Bus. Drive and monitor external manufacturing activities in a highly dynamic business environment. Execution of MPMs functions, controls and continuous business process improvement. Define and implement key operational indicators to measure and drive continuous improvement of BOM Health, Material Strategy Effectiveness. Influence component selections before BOM lock down. Cost benchmarking to ensure BOM cost meets BU profitability target . Drive efficiency and improve program risk management. Drive organization and people development. Collaborating with partners in BUs and GSM to ensure output max. Lead BPM for MPM related activities. Drive key procurement initiatives

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Qualifications listed as preferred or additional will be considered a plus factor for applicants.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidates should hold a Degree and/or MBA or equivalent experience with strong knowledge of procurement processes and systems and 10 yrs materials management experience. Also on the Bill of Materials BOM knowledge on Level 9 and above system integration/assembly.
