Intel Mechanical Engineer in Hillsboro, Oregon
ATTD's Customer Platform Technology Development team is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to develop and validate innovative mechanical assembly solutions for Intel's fleet of highly complex testers.
Responsibilities include designing assembly and test tools and fixtures to enable and streamline the manufacturing process.
Also responsible to provide product DFM, ensuring that risks related to board and system level assembly are proactively and effectively mitigated and that Intel is well prepared for flawless product launches.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
- Possess a BS or MS in mechanical engineering or similar discipline with strong 3D modeling and software designing experience.
The ideal candidate would have a strong understanding of board and system assembly processes.
Have a very strong mechanical aptitude, able to effectively engage with design teams, define product assembly requirements, utilize ProE / CREO, develop/validate tools/fixtures, develop assembly and deliver customer consumable collaterals.
