Intel's Data Center Group DCG drives new products technologies from high-end co-processors for supercomputers to low-energy systems for enterprise and the cloud, as well as solutions for big data and intelligent devices.

The group is a worldwide organization that develops the products and technologies that power nine of every 10 servers sold worldwide.

New technologies in memory and storage, as well as how infrastructure is optimized for cloud business models are allowing customers to innovate in new and exciting ways.

The Solution Architect for Non-Volatile Memory & Storage Solutions NVMS is focused on the end user first, understanding and documenting end user requirements across hardware and software and developing technical solution proposals to address their requirements.

You will interface with Senior Leaders, Systems Engineers, Architects and Engineering Managers, Business Development, Marketing & Sales across Intel to deliver strategic value for Intel through new and differentiated solutions leveraging Intel's innovative technology.

Other job responsibilities include representing Intel's direction and interests to industry bodies and public forums, developing technical relationships with end-users, ISVs, OEMs and preparing and presenting data, technology solutions and recommendations to executive audiences.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent with 9+ years of industry experience or a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent with 6+ years of industry experience,

  • 4+ years of experience in developing and documenting technical solutions including both hardware and software components

  • 3+ years of experience building and operating server infrastructure at one of the following: cloud service provider, enterprise IT, Federal SI, communications service provider, or academia

Desired Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in developing solutions in the Cloud/Comms industry focused on cloud infrastructure, data analytics, and cloud services

  • Experience in Requirements Engineering, Solution Architecture, Design, Development and Deployment.

  • A broad set of technical skills and knowledge across hardware, software, systems and solutions development and across more than one technical domain.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including representing your company in industry forums or technical events.

  • Strong technical team leadership, mentorship and cross-functional collaboration.

  • High energy, entrepreneurial and collaborative attitude with the ability to adapt quickly and work well in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience in Stakeholder Management and Executive Presentations.
