The Ethernet Advanced Debug Team (EDT) in DCPAE is looking for a talented intern to support debug work of networking issues for Intel Customers. Our team is the escalation group on customer issues not solved by first level customer support teams in DCPAE. As such issues managed by this team tend to be complex and demanding. This role involves performing customer debug, product development enabling, data collection, IEEE conformance test support, tools development & documentation. Assignments include working with different groups to providers support both for new product development, product enhancements and issue resolutions.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum requirements:

Pursuing a graduate degree in Engineering or computer science

6 months experience with:

  • Software Programming skills in Python

  • Working knowledge of laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, network analyzer, spectrum analyzer

  • Knowledge of Ethernet networking/switching is plus
