We are a team of highly motivated, experienced and agile thinkers, who are looking for the right person to join us as a Security Solutions Architect responsible to drive the adoption of software security strategy, security architecture standards, design patterns, and best practices of new data center server products based on Intel's Product and System Engineering.

Rack Scale Design represents the next generation of Definable infrastructure targeted at cloud server deployments that can be dynamically provisioned across compute, network and storage resources.

It dramatically improves a customer's flexibility to 'right size' their infrastructure based of the specific performance and capacity requirements across a pooled share of resources.

Rack Scale Design is path finding and ground breaking new methodologies and approaches to doing business.

We are housed within Data Center Solutions Group that is tasked with reinventing the data center of the future.

This PSE Security Solutions Architect is an individual contributor experienced in architecting, engineering and operating data center infrastructure with emphasis on large scale environments.

Will be able to define processes to be used in the development of the product SDL, and standards and protocols to be implemented in the solution based on best known industry practices and recommend extensions or modifications to current practices. In this role you will work as part of a team to analyze how the technological evolution of datacenter technology affects the security practices and propose cutting-edge solutions to address these challenges.

Considering technical/business pain points, determining technical requirements and potential solutions, and partnering on proof of concept architectures which lead towards production implementations.

The position requires the ability to innovate, communicate complex solutions, and assist partners, customer teams and Intel Engineering teams in delivering next gen data center solutions.

Qualifications

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

  • 9+ years of related work experience in the following areas:

  • Broad and practical experience in architecting, engineering, and operating data center infrastructure with domain expertise in at least one major technical security domain.

  • Leading engineering teams on the implementation of the SDL process or equivalent in the industry.

  • Embedded security technologies.

  • Scripting, building tools, and automation to manage data center infrastructure and experience on large datacenters

  • Security use of Intel Security technologies.

  • Experience on consulting skills and be comfortable partnering with business units to understand business requirements and advise on security matters

  • Experience in security policies and practices, including ISO - 17000, 27034, 19600 etc.

  • Depth and breadth of legacy, existing, and next generation data center solutions

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to create collateral to articulate strategy of complex concepts into simple solutions.

  • Proven contributions to the technology industry for data center infrastructure solutions e.g. whitepapers, patents, code contributions.

  • Ability to consume and utilize design patterns, APIs, or tool sets Strong communication abilities. for technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Experience with leading cloud solutions as a consumer.

  • Major team player and collaborator with excellent communication skills.

  • Passion to exceed expectations and constantly push the envelope.

  • Positive role model and mentor.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications prefer public speaking experience.
