The candidate will be joining an advanced multicomm wireless research team within the Wireless Communications Research organization in Intel Labs. The candidate is expected to conduct research on key enabling technologies for next generation
PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering with Communications/Computer Science background
3+ years experience in wireless communication systems, e.g. cellular systems 4G/5G, mmWave, especially on MAC/NET layers
3+ years experience with network simulations, and familiar with tools such as NS3, Matlab/C++ based simulation packages
In-depth knowledge of TCP end-to-end congestion/rate control & active queue management (AQM) algorithms
Linux/Windows kernel driver (e.g. filter driver, netlink, etc.) software development experience is a plus
