Intel Senior Big Data Engineer in Hillsboro, Oregon
This is an exciting opportunity for somebody who is looking forward to play to a critical role in the startup and sustaining of the our 3DXPoint TD line. As part of NSG Automation, you will be primarily responsible for the design and development of the big data pipeline for 3DXPoint Manufacturing . You will be working closely with our partners to clearly understand the requirements and develop high value solutions to meet the data analytics needs. You will also be responsible for the preparation and curation of data and present it in a manner such that it is easily discoverable. You will utilize your excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and organizational skills on a daily basis while interacting with our partners. While both collaborating as a team and working independently, you will handhold projects on new capabilities and ensure a smooth delivery.
5+ years of experience designing and implementing data pipelines in production using tools from the Hadoop ecosystem.
Experience with one or more nosql database such as HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB
Experience with Hadoop and HDFS. (note I want to make it all)
Experience with 1 or more of the following (Hive, Impala)
Experience with building a data warehouse or data lake
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
Experience working with Manufacturing test data is a plus
Experience ETL techniques and frameworks, such as Flume is also a plus
