We are a team of highly motivated, experienced and agile thinkers, who are looking for the right person to join us as the Rack Scale Design Product Program Manager, responsible for orchestrating the development and delivery of new data center server products based on Intel's Rack Scale Design technologies.

Rack Scale Design represents the next generation of Software Defined Infrastructure targeted at cloud server deployments that can be dynamically provisioned across compute, network and storage resources.

It dramatically improves a customer's flexibility to 'right size' their infrastructure based of the specific performance and capacity requirements across a pooled share of resources.

Rack Scale Design is path finding and ground breaking new methodologies and approaches to doing business. We are housed within Data Center Solutions Group that is tasked with reinventing the data center of the future.

This RSD Product Program Manager is responsible for the overall success of the technology and product execution specifically for crafting, aligning and driving required execution plans across multiple business units and functional teams including CPU and ingredient silicon, boards/systems, SW/FW, validation, integration, security, regulatory, tools and industry and customer enabling.

As the primary point of accountability for an Rack Scale Design HW/SW solution product, this individual will lead a matrix team of senior technical and business contributors requiring strong leadership skills as well as a solid understanding of technology, product and platform development processes.

To succeed in this role will require strong leadership and decision-making skills and the ability to build respect and influence across a diverse, cross-organizational team.

The successful candidate will have excellent presentation and communication skills, a proven ability to develop and drive complex execution plans, creative problem solving, and a passion for this challenge.

This position also requires significant technical acumen in order to be a credible partner for the technology engineering teams.

The successful candidate must understand the information the development teams are giving him/her to be able to build respect and make effective decisions across many different organizations and disciplines.

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar degree with 15+ years of Engineering Program Management experience in delivery of a Systems Platform

  • Experience leading a large matrix development team.

  • Excellent teamwork, collaboration and consensus building skills

  • Comfortable working with minimum supervision

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Experience working with Product Management and Engineering teams to define product features, Landing Zones and Platform Intercepts

  • Drive timely release, documentation and communication of PRD and SAS

  • Extensive knowledge of associated technologies and component development

  • Extensive knowledge on software development, preferably with open source and API experience

  • Knowledge of Intel server CPU/silicon strategies and roadmap

  • Knowledge of networking, cloud workloads, and for accelerator workloads

  • High level project/program/platform management experience

  • Senior level decision making and influencing experience

  • Experience with server systems or data centers highly preferred.
