Intel Senior Software Development Engineer in Hillsboro, Oregon

Job Description

You will join the NSG Automation team to design, develop and integrate applications that would help deliver to NSG manufacturing needs. In this role you will primarily partner with teams in NSG and IT to deliver relevant solutions.

As a Sr. Software Development Engineer you will develop solutions by studying information needs, systems flow, data usage and work processes and confer with users to architect and deliver the Best-In-Class solutions.

The responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing a direct and matrix reporting group of engineers responsible for developing and implementing automated data analysis systems solutions for TD and ramping factories, and for all phases of memory process technologies.

  • The Senior Software Development Engineer is viewed as an expert providing technical direction and leadership in tackling complex cross-functional technology issues.

  • They will collaborate with technology development partners in defining goals, developing the vision, aligning strategy, and driving fast paced silicon development to meet aggressive technology node cadences.

  • They will work with factory teams to ensure seamless integration of manufacturing systems into Intel's memory manufacturing factories.

  • Responsible for developing and implementing automated semiconductor yield and test data analysis manufacturing systems

  • The ideal candidate should possess a strong written and oral communication, analytical problem solving and teamwork skills.


  • MS or BS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience with NET, objected oriented programming skills are highly desired.

  • 3+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, test yield engineering systems will be a plus
