Job Description

This is an entry level position and will be paid accordingly.

Come join Intel's Silicon Engineering Group organization as a System on a Chip (SOC) Design Engineer. In this role you will be responsible for researching, designing, developing, and testing leading Intel designs.

Your responsibilities may include but not be limited to:

  • Developing next-generation SoC designs, including micro-architecture, RTL development and integration, circuit design, and back-end integration

  • Validating design and micro-architectural implementation and assumptions

  • Developing solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment

  • Automating design tasks in order to complete the design in the most efficient fashion possible.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must have a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electrical & Computer Engineering.

At BS level this U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only. A U.S. Worker is someone who is either a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government. Intel will not sponsor a foreign national for this position.

Minimum 6 months of experience with design principles and techniques in at least two of the following areas:

  • Computer architecture

  • RTL design

  • Digital logic and optimizations

  • SOC design and integration

  • Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) Complementary MOS (CMOS) circuits and timing
