As a SoC Validation Design Engineer you will collaborate with both internal and external teams/customers, leverage your experience testing and debugging failures, demonstrate strong problem solving/leadership skills, use your strong written and verbal communication skills to influence, and work with a high performance team, including selection, development and deselection, to deliver the results required from the organization.

You will also be responsible for creation of verification environment, test content and associated validation collateral. You will determines architecture for verification for chip and system simulation/emulation, define module interfaces/formats for simulation, performs all aspects of the IP verification flow, and creates test plans and tests to ensure that the design meets the requirements.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of pre-silicon validation/verification experience or related MS degree with 3+ year's of experience.

  • Experience with Verilog/SystemVerilog

  • Experience with methodologies like OVM/UVM

  • Experience with creation of test plan, coverage closure, test case and regression suite development.

  • Experience with debugging RTL issues, regression failures, and verification environment issues, including class-based verification components.

Preferred (Additional) Qualifications

  • Understanding of Verification IP architecture for any complex protocol especially mixed signals (with digital/analog blocks) would be an added advantage

  • Experience with scripting (ie. TCL, Python, Perl)
