Job Description

  • Oversees definition, design, verification, and documentation for SoC System on a Chip development

  • Determines architecture design, logic design, and system simulation

  • Defines module interfaces/formats for simulation

  • Performs Logic design for integration of cell libraries, functional units and subsystems into SoC full chip designs, Register Transfer Level coding, and simulation for SoCs

  • Contributes to the development of multidimensional designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits

  • Performs all aspects of the SoC design flow from high level design to synthesis, place and route, timing and power to create a design database that is ready for manufacturing

  • Analyzes equipment to establish operation infrastructure, conducts experimental tests, and evaluates results

  • May also review vendor capability to support development.

We are looking for motivated engineers to work with us on the Chassis CTE model, which is a small representative SOC design. Both FE integration and validation skills are needed and there is an opportunity to do both.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineer plus 2+ years experience in front end integration work OR Bachelor's degee in Electrical Engineer plus 4+ years experience

  • Experience integrating of one or more IPs/subsystems into an SoC model, including IP integration, connectivity, build and support for model bring-up and reset

  • Excellent debug skills

  • Experience in pre-silicon validation. Experience with Collage, ACE/BMAN, Verdi, GIT and/or Gatekeeper is a plus

  • Knowledge of scripting Languages like Perl/Tcl/Python required

  • Good communication skills as well as excellent problem solving skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a multi-site environment spanning multiple time zones
