Job Description

Develops software as the primary job function Designs, develops, debugs & tests complex software in any field e.g., systems software, software development tools, applications, drivers, numerical methods, UI's, web. May work directly with companies developing and optimizing compilers, operating systems, and other software technologies.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Candidate must have a Masters or PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Electrical Engineering.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Software Design and Software Engineering, Scientific Computation, and numerical analysis

  • Minimum of 2 years of related work or educational experience and mathematical background in the area of numerical analysis and understanding of accuracy in transcendental function design

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in computer architecture (Intel Architecture and processors preferred)

  • Minimum of 1 year in programming tools such as compilers, linkers, debuggers, static and dynamic code analyzers Intel software tools preferred when available.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with Microsoft Windows, Linux or other OS SW development environments, C, C++, and scripting languages.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with software systems such as Maple, Mathematica, Matlab, or similar ones.

  • Knowledge of Intel Architecture assembly language.
