Job Description

Intel is looking for Solutions Architect - Customer Engineer to join our team.

This position will work directly with customers, system integrators, independent firmware vendors, or other 3rd parties, and partners with all Product Business Units across Intel to drive External Customer Enabling for Software Stack shift-left with Virtual Platform Simulation and other capabilities. The Solutions Architect/Customer Engineer (SACE) will work with the end user to define solutions by providing unique insight into the technology that can most optimally serve the business need, and by setting expectations for use cases, capabilities and features. The SACE will support the solutions team, consisting of Intel enabling engineers, business development managers, model development leads, OEM/ODM, and 3rd-party stakeholders through the definition process, translating the business opportunity into a User Experience and use cases from which the spectrum of solutions are developed. The SACE will define, develop and lead critical technical initiatives and innovations to meet customer requirements and to influence/align within Intel -- shepherding from concept through completion/deployment.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum requirements/qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.

Minimum Requirements:

  • MS EE or MS CS recommended+8+ years industry experience

  • 2+ years of experience in a dedicated role as an Architect designing solutions

  • 6+ years with all of the following:

  • Solution development

  • Software Product Developer

  • Writing and producing code

  • 3+ years of experience with System-Level Software to include the following: BIOS and Firmware

  • 3+ years of experience with Intel architecture

  • Working knowledge of pre-silicon simulation and prototyping solution e.g., Virtual Platform, Emulation, Hybrids, etc.

  • Demonstrated background working with and influencing both technical and business colleagues

Preferred skills:

  • Experience building and developing models associated with Pre-Silicon Simulation Prototyping Solutions e.g., Virtual Platform, Emulation, Hybrids, etc.
