Job Description

Sort Design Engineers own and improve the designs of hardware equipment needed to test Intel’s latest products in order to meet the required quality and output goals. This position is for a design module engineer within the Sort Test Technology Development (STTD) group. As an STTD design engineer, the candidate will be expected to understand and develop the design process, collaborate with multiple units within and outside of Intel in order to deliver design within strict timelines. The candidate is expected to collect experimental data for validation and development of new tooling hardware for next generation processes. In this role the candidate is expected to become an expert of the design constraints the tooling hardware and the configurations related collateral units and execute within the set boundaries.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

Possess a M.S. in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent Engineering degree.
