Intel Sort TD PCM Module Engineer in Hillsboro, Oregon
Intel's Sort/Test Technology Development Group STTD is an exciting place to work driving world-class innovations in manufacturing and process control.
The position is for a STTD PCM (Probe Card Metrology) module engineering role within the sort program. Sort requires development of a new test platform targeted to radically change sort by improving TPT and test content, while lowering overall test cost. This role is within the STTD organization. As a STTD PCM module engineer, the candidate will be expected to develop, qualify and deploy into production new Sort Interface Unit (SIU) technology to enable next generation testing of Intel's products. This requires understanding and developing new equipment, HW upgrades and/or new SW capabilities. Additionally, this role may include owning aspects of the supporting STTD sort development programs including SIU dispositioning, supplier qualification, quality checks, setting up manufacturing systems and automation interaction.

This is an entry level position and would be compensated accordingly .
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
- Posses a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering , or Physics
- Scripting & programming experience is a preferred.
