In VTT, our focus is on delivering Best-in-Class visual experiences that enable users to immerse themselves in a new visual future. The Software team is within VTT and our purpose is to develop software on all OS’s for Intel’s lasts GPU/CPU architecture.

If you're passionate about Linux, open source and enjoy working with leading graphics engineers on Intel's latest GPU architecture, then the Open Source Linux Graphics team has opportunities for you. We are seeking individuals with strong engineering background and experience working with open source software to join the open source graphics team to manage our 3D open source efforts and drive technical alignment with the community and open source distributions. As a Senior Graphics Engineer you will be responsible for design, development and delivery of the 3D open source driver for OpenGL and Vulkan. You will be part of the Intel Graphics team, supporting, improving, and enabling next generation technologies. You will work with various partners and the community to enhance and improve our Linux drivers in regards to overall platform support, ease of use, performance and overall delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related experience.

10+ years of professional career experience in software projects with externally visible results: shipped products, demoes, patents, publications, etc.

Candidate should have 7+ years of experience with the following:

  • Experience as a technical leader for solving complex software issues

  • In C/C++ programming

  • Experience developing applications or drivers

  • Linux operating system

  • Experience in Graphics and Open Source a plus
