Job Description

Intel's Client Computing Group looking is seeking to add a Sr. Power Integrity Engineer to their team.

This position is responsible for power integrity solution for client SoC products. The work scope may include but not limited to the following: To analyze circuit/package/board designs to optimize system performance. To deliver design collaterals to internal and external customers to enable product development. To work closely with design and validation teams on validation and correlation. To work with external customers on design reviews and co-engineering, demonstrating strong organizational and communication skills, self-motivation.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through relevant previous school, industry jobs and/or research experience.

MS/Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields.

Experience in circuit design, electrical validation, signal and power integrity, IC packaging and board design, or other related fields.

Experienced identifying, isolating, and debugging issues and providing design solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with IO circuit, IA core/graphics, and voltage regulator designs.

Experience of circuit and electromagnetic simulation, e.g. Cadence tools Power SI, PowerDC, 3DEM, XtractIM, Ansys tools HFSS, Q2D, Q3D, SiWave, CPA and etc.

Experience with power electronics, signal integrity, RF and analog circuit design, package and motherboard design. Experience with post silicon characterization and validation, e.g. EV, SV, CMV, HVM tester, bin split. Experience of measurement techniques, such as spectral analyzer, oscilloscope, TDR and VNA.
