You will be joining the Roadmap and Technology Planning team in IOTG. The team's charter is to define/manage the IOTG silicon product roadmap including defining/driving strategic technology domain plans/roadmaps for all IOTG's products.

This strategic planner's role is to define and set the direction for next generation of Internet of Things silicon products. In this role, you will have a strong partnering with architecture / engineering organizations coupled with direct customer interaction to define and manage the IOTG roadmap with a focus on creating IP for Functional Safety. The job entails defining an entire Roadmap of products that is an optimal intersection of competitiveness and executability.

This position requires a combination of business acumen, technical knowledge in Functional Safety at both a platform and silicon level, influencing, organization negotiation, networking capabilities and accountability for decision making.

You will be defining and driving the long range strategy for Functional Safety direction to ensure IOTG solutions deliver best in class capabilities across a wide range of Intel products. This emerging area is fundamental to IOTG's success and such we will drive this area.

Qualifications

  • Both Business and Technical understanding of Functional Safety product implications

  • Product planning and/or product management experience

  • 10+ years industry experience

  • Engineering or Computer Science BS/MS, MBA preferred

  • Experience driving programs/strategic discussions and presenting to senior management

  • Experience working with Customers and/or Third Party Vendors

  • Excellent communications, demonstrated ability to influence at all levels and driving results in a complex matrix organization

  • Demonstrated and proven experience in defining and implementing technology and IP
