Intel STTD Sort Interface Development Engineer in Hillsboro, Oregon
Characterize and develop the sort tooling and probing process within the sort test module. This entails designing experiments to establish fundamental understanding of the key sort tooling components, conducting studies and Failure Analysis to reveal the limitations of the key components and how that will impact the sort tooling performance within the sort module environment and developing/qualifying more robust solutions.
Responsibilities include technology research, architecture development, and development of test strategies, determining test parameters, specify tests to be performed, conducting design review, designing and debugging test/fixtures resolving design and implementation issues, meeting production quality and reliability requirements and supplier technical management.
As a team member within the Sort Test Technology Development (STTD) organization, candidate will partner with other organizations within LTD, ATTD and STTD to develop the tooling and test module process.

This an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Possess a Masters or Ph.D. in a physical science.
