Intel's Sort/Test Technology Development Group STTD is an exciting place to work driving world-class innovations in manufacturing and process control.
Sort Engineers own and improve test equipment applications, software and operation systems in order to enhance the quality, reliability and manufacturability of sort testing equipment. This position is for a module engineering role within the Sort Test Technology Development (STTD) group. As an STTD module engineer, the candidate will be expected to understand and develop HW and/or SW capability for the test equipment sets, be able to construct and execute Designs of Experiment, and perfect the sort process for release to high-volume manufacturing.
This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
- Possess a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, or an equivalent Engineering degree.
Hardware development experience
Programming experience is preferred
