Job Description

Intel's Datacenter Solutions Group (DSG) is looking for a highly motivated person to join its Pre-Launch Marketing Ops team to provide Technical Marketing support for next generation Intel server products.

As an NPI TME, you will utilize marketing, technical, and customer orientation skills, to support development of next generation Intel server products. You will participate in product development teams who will look to you, as a customer advocate, to provide feedback and guidance in the development of server system features specific to product integration and serviceability. During product development, you will be responsible for providing both direct and indirect customer support; answering their questions, investigating reported issues, and posting files to provide best customer experience.

As a Technical Writer, you will work within a product development team where you will utilize your technical writing experience to define and develop product documentation and other support collaterals. Depending on experience and ambition, you may also be asked to oversee our Technical Writing Service, and help define and develop new methodologies and strategies to access and view our product documentation in various electronic formats.

Qualifications

Education:

Technical degree in a computer related field: Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology; along with an exceptional level of writing skills

3+ years of server system experience in a development, test, or support capacity

You should possess a strong understanding of server board architecture, server system features, and be familiar with current and upcoming technologies for use in server systems targeted for the identified server segments.

3+ years of proven professional Technical Writing and/or Documentation Development experience

Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences

Preferred Qualifications:

Hands on experience with computer system integration and/or system service would be highly useful in support of this position.

Proven work experience with planning, development, and support of various electronic documentation format options

Additional Qualifications:

Strong verbal, presentation, and time/task management skills are a must for this position

Must be highly detail oriented

Leadership capability and strong interpersonal communications skills

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft* Office products

Be able to work effectively in a collaborative work environment
