Intel Test R&D Engineer in Hillsboro, Oregon
This position is responsible for manufacturing module automation. This includes equipment. software interfaces, local tool control, interfaces to factory systems and coordination of factory level automation requirements.
Automation system definition, design, implementation and validation.
Equipment software feature definition, development, validation and continuous improvement.
Coordination of software deliverables with internal and external suppliers and stakeholders.
Statistical process control implementation, including metrics, limits and response flows.
Process characterization through design of experiments and statistical data analysis
This an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
- Possess a M.S. or Ph.D. degree in: Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related engineering/science disciplines. Well qualified students with strong records with a B.S. degree in: Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related engineering/science disciplines will also be considered.
Experience/strong knowledge in the following areas:
Programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Python, PERL, JAVA, PSpice, SQL, VHDL, and scripting languages.
Machine control PLC programming.
Experience in a high volume manufacturing environment including hands-on resolution of issues on the floor, statistical process control, generation of procedures and RFCs.
Knowledge of experimental design and statistical concepts.
Background in process or equipment development, equipment design and experience with external supplier management is desirable
