Intel Wireless Standard Intern in Hillsboro, Oregon
In this position, you will be working as a Student for evaluating system performance and developing technical solutions on Radio Access Network RAN layer 2/3 control plane and data plane protocols for 5G NR in 3GPP.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Analyze and generate performance results for mobility handover simulation tool
Develop technical solution to enhance mobility performance for 5G NR system
SW development tools & methodologies
Enhance programming language skills
Enhance communication skills
Becoming familiar with 5G wireless system
Becoming familiar with 3GPP Radio Access Network Layer2/3 control and user plane.
Candidate must be pursuing a Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
Experience with software development using C/C++, Matlab
Experience MAC/protocols/network/cross layers simulation skills using C/C++, Matlab or OPNET tools
Analytical and problem solving skills
Fluent in English both written and verbal
